The 40" brackets are recommended for use with 48-66" pieces of our fireplace mantel shelves. Made in the USA with 3/16" US steel and equipped with two 4" support rods, these brackets can hold up to 200 lbs, making them perfect for any heavy or decorative shelf. Please note that installation of these brackets should be done with the help of a licensed professional to ensure proper and secure attachment to the wall.
