ORDER PROCESSING & LEAD TIME

At Old West Iron we take pride in our hand forged products that are made to order to the custom options chosen. Some items are produced in advance and are able to ship with quicker lead times than our more customizable pieces. This process is depicted below to create transparency and to help you better estimate lead times for your order. Please keep in mind the lead times below are estimates. We are a small family owned business that processes orders in the order they are received. Our shop can get occasionally bogged down by 1-5 business days due to exceptionally large orders, employee illnesses and employee family emergencies. We do our best to get your order out in a timely manner, and treat every order with the upmost importance regardless of the order value or size. We appreciate your understanding that most of our products are hand made to order and this process takes time. If you are concerned about the time frame or have questions, please email our office. For all status inquiries please use the form at the bottom of the page, they will be answered at the end of the day when we have that information available and when it will not disrupt production.
