Bolts are typically used for fastening items together. Used for both structural and decorative applications. Our square bolts appeal more to a rustic design especially with our texture of hammered or pyramid. These square head bolts add just the flare you need for your project. When purchasing nuts and washers with this item you will want to select the same size as the diameter of the bolt.
We recommend using 3/8" diameter and above for structural applications.

Upgrade your construction with our 5/8" Pyramid Square Head Bolt. Made with Grade 2-5 strength, you can trust it to withstand high loads and provide secure fastening. Contact us to request a custom quote for different grade options.

- Raw: Metal is left untreated. Recommended for those wanting to add their own finish.
- Black: The part is painted flat black. We recommend this option for parts that have no texturing done to them and for outdoor use.
- Oil Rubbed Bronze: A wax containing bronze is rubbed on the piece, leaving a bronze color to the high points of the metal where the lows will be black. Recommended for hammered or distressed textured items.
- Pewter: A wax containing pewter is rubbed on the part, leaving the silver-ish pewter color on the highs points of the metal and the lows will be black. Recommended for hammered of distressed textured items.
- Aged Bronze: A wax containing bronze is applied to the piece and then wiped away. This finish leaves the high points of the metal black and the low points a goldish-bronze color. Recommended for hammered or distressed items.
- Aged Pewter: A wax containing pewter is applied to the piece and then wiped away. This finish leaves the high point of the metal black and the low points a silver-ish pewter color. Recommended for hammered or distressed items.
- Rusty Metal Patina: This finish leaves the reddish, orange color of the rust on the low points of the piece. It looks best when selected with a hammered or distressed texture
- Gunmetal: This is an acid finish leaving hints of blues and browns coming through the part. The coloring soaks into the metal making it more scratch resistant (Good for high use items).Not recommended for outdoor use
- Wrought Iron Patina: This is an acid was finish, the blackish coloring will soak into the metal making it more scratch resistant (Good for high usu items). Not recommended for outdoor use

Was able to consider multiple finish options before settling on black. Delivery was reasonable for a custom product. However, the shipment date and estimated delivery were not easy to come by.

Q:
I am buying 1/2” bolts, washers and nuts for an exterior craftsman style redwood driveway gate. I will buy the Diamond pyramid square head bolts, the Art Deco hammered edge washers, and decorative hex nuts. But I can’t figure out the color. I do not want black or anything with rust or reddish tones. So I’m not interested in the black or rust or bronze options. I want something that feels like metal but isn’t too shiny. Do you have an image that shows the color options? Thanks.

I think maybe what might working for you is our pewter or aged pewter. I would suggest our gunmetal which is a darker finish with blueish tones but it is an interior finish because it may rust quicker. Please email me if you have any other questions at office@oldwestiron.com Thank you!
