I have a timber beam that is 6" in depth and need a threaded eye bolt to extend 1" beyond for nut and washer. Will the 14" bolt work? I will be using two bolts to hold a pot rack.
Thanks,

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for your inquiry!
For your needs, a 14" threaded eye bolt should work well for your timber beam that is 6" in depth. With the bolt extending 1" beyond for the nut and washer, this will leave you with about 7" of length remaining, which is sufficient for a secure and stable installation using two bolts to hold your pot rack.
