2. How are your cabinet knobs different from standard hardware-store knobs?
Old West Iron knobs are made from thicker steel with hand-forged or hand-textured details. Unlike lightweight mass-produced knobs, ours offer real weight, durability, and authentic Old World craftsmanship that elevates any piece of cabinetry.

3. How do I choose the right size cabinet knob?
For standard cabinets, 1–1.5 inch knobs fit most doors and drawers. Larger pieces or rustic furniture may benefit from oversized knobs for better scale and grip. Choose a design and diameter that complements the size and style of your cabinetry.

4. What finishes and textures are available?
Cabinet knobs come in matte black, natural iron, oil-rubbed bronze, and hand-distressed finishes. Hammered, peened, and antique textures are applied in-house to coordinate seamlessly with our handles, hinges, and decorative hardware.

5. Are your cabinet knobs hand-forged?
Many of our knobs are individually hand-forged or hand-textured by our American blacksmiths. Even precision-cut designs are finished by hand to achieve the historic wrought-iron character Old West Iron is known for.

6. What are the lead times and where are your cabinet knobs made?
Most cabinet knobs ship within 1–10 business days, depending on finish and quantity. All decorative and custom-finished knobs are made or finished in the USA at our Idaho forge. Some cabinet knobs are made by and shipped from our artisan partners in the USA, Canada, and the UK.
