Old West Iron straps are made from thicker steel with cleaner cuts, stronger construction, and hand-applied textures. Unlike mass-produced brackets, our pieces feature authentic old-world styling and finishes that complement handcrafted ironwork.

3. How do I choose the right strap or U-strap for my project?
Select the length and width based on the scale of the timber or element you’re reinforcing. U-straps should match the beam’s width for a snug fit, while flat straps can be sized to the visual span of the joint. Ensure your fasteners match the hole diameter.

4. What finishes and textures are available?

6. What are the lead times and where are they made?
Most straps and U-straps ship within 1–10 business days, depending on finish and size. All decorative and custom-finished pieces are made or finished in the USA at our Idaho forge.
