2. How are your door pulls different from standard hardware-store pulls?
Old West Iron door pulls are crafted from thicker steel with hand-forged or hand-textured details. Unlike lightweight imports, our pulls offer substantial weight, lasting durability, and authentic Old World craftsmanship.

3. How do I choose the right size door pull?
Match the pull’s length and projection to the scale of your door. Larger doors, gates, and barn doors look best with longer or heavier pulls, while smaller interior doors use medium-sized versions. Always confirm mounting hole spacing before ordering.

4. What finishes and textures are available?
Door pulls come in matte black, natural iron, oil-rubbed bronze, and hand-distressed finishes. Hammered, peened, and antique textures are applied in-house to coordinate with our hinges, straps, and other rustic iron hardware.

5. Are your door pulls hand-forged?
Many of our pulls are hand-forged or hand-hammered by American blacksmiths. Others are precision-cut but individually textured and finished by hand for a true wrought-iron appearance.

6. What are the lead times and where are they made?
Most door pulls ship within 1–10 business days, depending on style and finish. All decorative and custom-finished pulls are made or finished in the USA at our Idaho forge.
