Custom pizza doors for arched pizza oven openings built to your specific size. Our doors are available with optional window, damper, thermometer and custom handle options. All pizza oven doors are 1/8" thick, all insulated pizza oven doors are 1" thick.

A custom arched door is shaped precisely to the curve and dimensions of your oven opening, ensuring a perfect contour fit that improves heat retention and enhances the traditional architecture of your oven face.

2. Why choose an Old West Iron custom arched door instead of a pre-sized option?
Our custom doors use heavy-gauge steel, reinforced hinge or mounting components, and hand-applied forged textures. Because they’re made to your exact measurements, they seal better, operate smoother, and deliver a more authentic old-world aesthetic than off-the-shelf doors.

3. How do I measure my oven opening for an arched custom door?
Measure the full width of the base, then measure from the hearth to the highest point of the arch. If your arch isn’t perfectly symmetrical, take measurements at several points. This ensures your door matches the true curve of your oven.

4. What finishes and forged textures can be applied to custom arched doors?
Custom arched doors are available in matte black, natural iron, oil-rubbed bronze, and a selection of hand-distressed finishes. Hammered, peened, and antique forged textures are applied in-house to complement your oven’s stonework and design style.

5. How much of each custom arched door is hand-forged or hand-finished?
While the body is precision-cut to mirror your oven’s curve, all handles, rivets, vent covers, hinge plates, and surface textures are worked by hand by our American blacksmiths. Every door carries true artisan-forged character.

6. What is the production time for custom arched pizza oven doors, and where are they made?
Custom arched doors usually ship within 5–15 business days, depending on complexity, finish, and order volume. All custom and hand-finished products are made or completed in the USA at our Idaho forge.

ATTENTION: Pizza oven doors with finishes cannot be used at temperatures higher than 1,200 degrees. Paint exposed to these high temperatures will burn away, and if you must use this door above the recommended temperature we recommend a raw/unfinished door.

Our warranty only covers doors used within the recommended range; we are not responsible for any damage that occurs  at temperatures higher than 1,200 degrees, regardless of finish color.
