The color (antique bronze) was beautiful. From a mechanical standpoint, the rod had slight wriggles where the threaded portions met the central unthreaded region (welded on?). The fit of the nuts on the rod is snug (hard to turn by hand).

Hi Mark, I'm glad you like the finish color! As for the rod, these are most often welded as we hand make these products. Hope this helps!
