My hook screw has a chunk of iron on it that i guess i need to file down but have not had time. I dont think it will screw into the wood with the metal bubble i the middle of the screw.

Interested in your "twisted hook and eye lags". Two sets: Quantity 4: These will be used to secure shutters against a concrete filled, concrete block wall. For the "eyes", I will need a more standard lag screw. I need two lag screws per shutter (and one hook) -- to hold it open, and to secure it closed. Also, can I get the hook shorter than 5 3/4", say 2" to 3" long? Quantity 2: These will be used to hold open French doors. For this, the hook needs to be much longer, say 20". The hook end will be screwed into masonry. The eye end will be a bolt through the door. What would the prices be for each of these? thanks! Don Van Doren
