These screws totally improved my project!
I struggled to find hardware that would match the look of 80 year old cast iron hooks I was hanging for a coat rack on a hall tree in our entry mudroom. I searched through buckets of old screws looking for something that matched the look and had the appropriate length/diameter for the needed strength. I even desperately searched online trying to buy used or NOS hardware that had "the look" and simply could not find anything. I stumbled upon Old West Iron's website and was at first skeptical because it seemed too good to be true. They offered slotted screws that would not only probably be period in terms of the drive type and were the right size, but also with a recreated finish that I dreamed would match the esthetic of the project. My only criticism was that I struggled over mobile to determine if the finish I selected was the best one from all of the options offered (I may have missed a page where it was easy to see all of this). The screws arrived quickly amid the end of year holiday times and we're better than I hoped. If I can figure out how to append a picture, I can share a side by side of how a regular wood screw vs. the Old West Iron screws ("antique restoration slotted bubble head screw") are a night and day difference! Thank you so much!1

Slotted Bubble Head Screw for a Whiskey Barrel Project
The slotted Bubble Head Screws that I used are perfect for the whiskey barrel that I am turning into a wine/whiskey holder. I needed a screw that matched the exterior of the whiskey barrel and had the appearance of an antique fastener. These did the job perfectly. Will certainly be ordering more of these.

Thank you for sharing. They look absolutely great together! So glad we could be of help.

Worked perfectly for my needs!
I recently installed a barn door and, although not an accident at the time of drilling, information was discovered later during installtion that made us have to slide the door the different direction than we had planned, so...I drilled the holes for the handle on the wrong left/right side of the door. Instead of trying to patch them and have a nightmare of matching paint color/finish, I just decided to get a couple decorative screws to fill the holes that I felt meshed with the door’s style; it worked-out very well!

Perfect fix! The door looks great!
