United StatesOff center nail complaints
I noticed a few complaints about the nails on the backs of the Clavos heads being off center. If you drill pilot holes so you can rotate the heads you can bring everything in line pretty easily. Unless you are mounting these Clavos nails side by side in a very tight pattern you will never notice the gap differtion. The fact that these are hand forged would make it dam near impossible to have the nail shanks perfectly in the middle

The hammered look was great fit for my project but the way the spikes was welded to the nail head was terrible. They were all off center by as much as 1/4 inch making alignment very difficult. The weldment was sufficient enough that relief in the wood surface was needed to sit flush
