Eqyptian Fleur de Lis iron hinge strap displays an Egyptian fleur de lis end detail with soft curves and rounded ridges below the flower. The Fleur de lis is most commonly seen as French in style, although this symbol has roots in Egypt, Babylonia, Greece and Rome. As the nation of France emerged from the dark ages, the Fleur De Lis’ three petal form was a symbol of the Christian Trinity, first adopted on royal insignia by King Phillip the First.
