This arachnid-inspired, hand forged steel pendant is both sturdy and fashionable, featuring a traditional rustic design and available in various finishes to complement any ensemble. At 1 1/2 inches tall by 1 inch wide and weighing 21 grams, it makes for a versatile and stylish unisex accessory suitable for any occasion. Crafted with a blend of traditional and modern techniques in a one-man blacksmith shop, each piece is unique and may vary slightly in appearance. While the low carbon steel used in production has the potential to rust, I offer a choice of finishes to protect against wear and corrosion. For optimal protection, a layer of beeswax is applied to the hot metal for a water-resistant matte finish, suitable for indoor or protected outdoor use. For more demanding environments, a heavy duty outdoor polyurethane coating is available for added rust resistance.
