Hi Elaine, the T plates don't include fasteners but the ones that are pictured are the pyramid head screws - https://www.oldwestiron.com/collections/low-profile-pyramid-head-screws/products/hcs-02-decorative-1-2-square-pyramid-head-screws
You can choose any fasteners you want, we do the same color finishes on all of our products if you want them to match. Just be sure to select the same hole size as the fasteners you choose. For example, if you want 1/4" diameter screws, select 1/4" holes on the plates.
We do not recommend using the clavo nails to install anything over head. If you have questions about what size/type fasteners you need, please give us a call or email so we can give the best recommendation based on your instal.
